Elite Camp FAQ's
What's the refund policy?
14 Day Cooling Off Period
Any order can be cancelled within 14 days for a full refund as per EU regulations. Email info@thenationals.co.uk to begin the refund process
After the 14 Day Cooling Off Period - 60 days before the booked camp
Refunds can be offered at 75% between the above dates. A 25% admin fee is taken off your refund due to costs and deposits paid by The Nationals as part of your booking.
Less than 60 days before your camp
Refunds cannot be offered less than 60 days before the start of your camp.
You can choose to exchange for Store Credit or defer to another Nationals Camp.
Injuries sustained before the camp:
We believe that The Nationals provides such a valuable experience both on and off the pitch, that attending with an injury can still be an incredible experience for a young goalkeeper. We'd be happy to accommodate injured goalkeepers and provide a top class experience.
If you cannot make it due to an injury obtained after the 60 Day date, a Medical Doctors Note must be provided in order to recieve your refund (minus the 25% admin fee)
Why do we have to apply?
This is a much smaller camp than our Nationals Spring and Summer events, so it's important that our Keepers are already at an advanced and similar level, so they can get the most from the training.
Our application form is easy and just allows us to determine of your child is at the correct ability level required for this camp
Do parents have to attend?
Yes - 1 parent must accompany their goalkeeper.
We unfortunately cannot host 2 parents as we have twin rooms booked for this event. Other parents and family members would be welcome to watch training, but not included in the other activities.
When will I hear back from my application?
After applying, Martin will be in touch within 5 working days to confirm whether you are the right fit for this camp.
We will then provide a unique link to the camp to complete the purchase, with a booking form to complete after with dietary requirements, etc.
What is the accommodation like?
The accommodation is a Twin Room at the Hilton Belfry near Thame, Oxfordshire.
It is approximately 10 minutes from the training pitch.
Do we have to share a room?
Goalkeeper and parent must share a room together
How will different abilities be split?
The application process ensures all goalkeepers will be at an advanced level.
For smaller sessions with the coaches, we will assess ability and age when grouping goalkeepers.
Rest assured our biggest priority is on high quality training for this Elite Camp.
Is transport from the hotel to training provided?
There will be minibus transfers available from the hotel to training, for anyone who needs it.
Parents are welcome to drive from the hotel to training. This also gives parents the flexibility to go to and from training rather than watching the whole session
How do I know if I'm at the right level to apply?
If you're playing at a good level in your age group between ages 9-14, please apply for this camp!
