Welcome to The Nationals Brand New Event in collaboration with The FA!
We are proud to be delivering a series of regional talent events across the South West, Midlands and North East for female goalkeepers, born between 2010 and 2013, as part of The FA’s Discover My Talent programme.
These events are designed to support The FA in the identification of emerging female Goalkeeping talent, providing players with the opportunity to be observed in a high-quality environment that reflects the demands of the game.
Goalkeepers will be involved in a series of position-specific activities delivered by specialist goalkeeper coaches, exploring technical, tactical and physical attributes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for girls to challenge themselves, gain valuable experience and be part of a nationally recognised talent identification programme.

Thank you for attending our event, delivered in collaboration with The FA as part of the Discover My Talent programme, supporting the identification of players for the FA Women's England Talent pathway.
Players who demonstrate potential may be contacted by The Nationals or a member of The FA regarding possible next steps. If you do not hear from us, please continue to work hard, enjoy your football and believe in your journey as development looks different for every player.
If you would like further opportunities to train and develop, you may also wish to explore one of our goalkeeper camps!
Will my child play for England?
This is not an England call-up and there is no guarantee of progression or selection. However, the event offers an opportunity for goalkeepers to be identified and considered within the Women's England talent pathway.
Is this a trial for the England Talent Pathway?
No. This is not a trial. The day is designed to be a positive and enjoyable experience, where goalkeepers can take part in specific activities that are reflected in the demands of the goalkeeper position.
Players are encouraged to express themselves, be brave, communicate, and enjoy the challenge of working alongside other motivated goalkeepers. Taking part in this event is something to be proud of! It provides an opportunity to be involved in a high-quality environment and to be observed by experienced coaches and FA staff as part of the Discover My Talent programme.
Who is this programme aimed at?
If you are a female goalkeeper born between 2010 and 2013, then this is for you!
My child doesn't meet the date of birth criteria. Can she still attend?
These events are aimed at those born 2010-2013 but please enquire at info@thenationals.co.uk.

Participants are encouraged to attend an event within their designated region where possible. If this is not possible, please contact info@thenationals.co.uk for further guidance.

How much does this cost to attend?
This event is FREE!
Can parents stay to watch during the day?
We kindly ask that parents drop goalkeepers off at registration and return for collection at 3:00pm. This helps provide the players with a focused environment and minimises distractions, allowing them to get the most from the experience.
